Taste of Los Feliz - 2006

Sunday October 8, 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Hope-Net’s inaugural Taste of Los Feliz took place on Sunday October 8 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Vermont Avenue between n Prospect and Franklin Avenues.

The event featured food samples from local restaurants along Vermont Avenue. Additional restaurants from the area were also on hand, located in the Bank of America parking lot at Vermont and Prospect Avenues. Several area dessert establishments were there as well.

Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children under 12. Participants can be an Hope-Net “angel” and purchase 2 tickets for $100.

The Taste of Los Feliz included a raffle with grand prize being a monthly dinner for two at 12 Los Angeles area restaurants, tickets to the Greek Theatre and a personal tour of the newly renovated Griffith Observatory, and many more. Raffle tickets are $5 each; a book of 5 tickets is $20.

Many area organizations, including the Los Feliz Business Improvement District, worked hard in support of the event.
